The five Anuttara

अनुत्तर

Five unsurpassed abodes at the crown of the occupied world. Everyone here is nearly finished.

Sarvārthasiddhi at the centre, with Vijaya, Vaijayanta, Jayanta and Aparājita at the four directions.

The four directional ones return their gods to at most two more births. Sarvārthasiddhi returns its gods to exactly one: a human birth, and then liberation. Its residents are called ekabhavāvatārī, those who descend once.

Above them is only Siddhaśilā, one yojana below the roof of the universe, which holds no gods at all because the souls resting there have finished with being anything.
