Saudharma
The lowest heaven, beginning just above Meru's summit, and the home of Śakra.
The 1st of the twelve kalpa heavens. Its gods live at most 2 sāgaropama, it holds 32,00,000 vimānas, and its Indra is Śakra.
Gods of the two lowest kalpas still have physical union, as humans do. The scheme is called pravīcāra, and it is the real measure of these tiers: as you rise, the mode of satisfaction grows thinner, until above Acyuta it stops altogether and the The nine Graiveyaka gods have none at all.
Śakra, the Indra of this lowest heaven, is the god whose throne shakes at the birth of a Tīrthaṅkara and who carries the infant to Meru's summit for the consecration. The most active god in the tradition rules its bottom tier.
