Four perfectly straight mountain walls that cut the two ring-continents into halves.
The name means arrow-shaped, given for their straightness. Two run north and south across Dhātakīkhaṇḍa, two more across Puṣkarārdha, each stretching from the inner shore to the outer.
They are why the ring continents can hold two complete geographies instead of one smeared around a circle. On any painted map they are the four bold red bars on the vertical axis, and they are usually the first thing you notice.
