The last item is the widest: any food whose taste has moved, calita-rasa, because a change of taste is life beginning in it - and the commentary folds two of Hemacandra's items into this one.
Hemacandra listed separately boiled rice that has fermented and curd kept past two days; Siddhasena says calita-rasa covers both. The modern practice reads it as the rule about the night: cooked food kept overnight, vāsī, is refused, and so is anything whose smell, colour or taste has changed. Hemacandra's two-day limit on curd is the one number in the rule.
