Anuttara 1 of 5
Sarvārthasiddhi
सर्वार्थसिद्धि
The highest abode in the universe, and the last address before liberation.
Anuttara means unsurpassed, and these five are exactly that: nothing occupied stands above them except Siddhaśilā, which is not a heaven.
One human birth remains, and then liberation. No soul born here fails. Souls in the Anuttara are all samyagdṛṣṭi, all beyond desire, and all effectively on the way out.
Sarvārthasiddhi sits at the centre with the other four around it. Its gods live exactly thirty-three sāgaropama, the same span as the beings in the seventh hell. The two longest lives in the universe are the highest heaven and the deepest hell, and neither of them is liberation.
