ભરતમાં ગંગા અને સિંધુ. હૈમવતમાં રોહિતા અને રોહિતાસ્યા. હરિમાં હરિત્ અને હરિકાંતા. મહાવિદેહમાં સીતા અને સીતોદા. રમ્યકમાં નરકાંતા અને નરીકાંતા. હૈરણ્યવતમાં સુવર્ણકૂલા અને રૂપ્યકૂલા. ઐરાવતમાં રક્તા અને રક્તોદા.
સહાયક નદીઓ ગણાય છે, અને અંદરની તરફ જતાં દરેક યુગ્મમાં આ સંખ્યા બમણી થતી જાય છે. ગંગા અને સિંધુને 14,000-14,000; પછીના યુગ્મને તેનાથી બમણી, અને એ જ ક્રમે આગળ. સીતા અને સીતોદા, જે સોળ સોળ વિજયોનું પાણી ભેગું કરે છે, ટીકાઓમાં 5,32,000-5,32,000 પામે છે.
તેમાંની દરેક લવણ સમુદ્રમાં જઈને પૂરી થાય છે. આ વર્ણનમાં ન કોઈ સુકાય છે, ન કોઈને વરસાદથી પાણી મળે છે - તે શિખરના દ્રહોમાંથી નીકળીને સમુદ્ર સુધી જાય છે, અને એ જ આખી જળવ્યવસ્થા છે.
