Kṣatriyakuṇḍa

By Hemacandra's reckoning, as the atlas carries it, Mahāvīra was born here. The Śvetāmbara tīrtha is at Lachhuar in Jamui district; the Digambara tradition places Kuṇḍalapura near Nālandā; historians read the Kalpasūtra's Kuṇḍagrāma as a suburb of Vaiśālī, north of the Gaṅgā. The dot marks the Śvetāmbara tīrtha and the entry names the other two.

The dot on the map is Lachhuar, Jamui district, Bihar, by the Śvetāmbara tradition; the identification is disputed. Every site in this chapter is graded the same way, and the section says why.
