Śatruñjaya
The hill of Ṛṣabha, which the tradition says he visited, and where Puṇḍarīka, his first gaṇadhara, attained mokṣa: a hill built over with temples until there is no hill left to see.
No kalyāṇaka happened here. The Śatruñjaya Māhātmya makes the hill holy by Ṛṣabha's visits and by Puṇḍarīka's liberation, which is why it is also Puṇḍarīkagiri and why the great temple on the summit is Ādinātha's. That temple's present form is of 1530, rebuilt by Karmāśāh.
The count of temples is given as over eight hundred, in walled enclosures along the two summits, and the climb is some three and a half thousand steps by the usual count. It is drawn in a different colour from the scriptural sites for exactly that reason: it is where the tradition built, not where a text places an event.
