Mallinātha

In the Śvetāmbara reckoning, Mallinātha is a woman.
The Jñātādharmakathā tells it without apology: the princess Mallī of Mithilā, who attained omniscience and taught as the nineteenth Tīrthaṅkara. This atlas follows the Śvetāmbara reckoning, and that is her story as it gives it.
She is one of the two blue Tīrthaṅkaras, with the water-pot for her emblem. She stood 25 dhanuṣ and lived 55,000 years, one thousand koṭi years after Ara — the first antara given plainly in years.
Her being in this list at all is the Śvetāmbara position on women's liberation, stated as a person rather than as a doctrine.
