The unit seam in the lifespans falls here, between Śītala and Śreyāṃsa — a lakh of pūrvas is a number with twenty digits of years in it, and 84 lakh years is just a number. The Descent's other seam, in the antaras, comes later, after Ara.
His own antara is the strangest in the list: one koṭi sāgaropama, less one hundred sāgaropama and 66,26,000 years — the tradition subtracting years from a unit that is not made of years, and recording the difference anyway.
He was born in Siṃhapurī, stood 80 dhanuṣ; his emblem is the rhinoceros.
