Chatra

छत्र

The parasol. At the emperor's touch it spread over the camp against water, heat, wind and dust through the seven-day rain, the maṇi set in it for light (§10).

Twelve yojana across when spread is the traditional figure; the text read here gives that spread for the hide and the kākiṇī's light, not for the parasol, so it is not printed as the parasol's.
