The age of religion. Twenty-three of the twenty-four Tīrthaṅkaras of this half-cycle appear in it, from Ajitanātha through to Mahāvīra, along with the twelve cakravartīs, nine Baladevas, nine Vāsudevas and nine Prati-vāsudevas.
