Garlic लशुन
Garlic is the one bulb the verses name; the onion is not named and is refused under the same word, kanda.
Laśuna, Allium sativum. It is on the Śrāvaka-dharma-dohaka's short list beside sūraṇa and mūlaka, which shows it was among the first things meant by anantakāya. A clove planted grows; that is the whole case. The onion, which modern usage puts first, is its close relative and falls under the heading .
