The jewelled lion-throne with its footstool, at the centre of the innermost court.
The Tīrthaṅkara sits here facing east. Three thrones stand in the other three directions carrying made images, so that no company looks at a back.
In the oldest layer there is no throne at all — a stone slab under a tree.
The Digambara tradition adds that the Tīrthaṅkara does not touch the seat, but sits a little above it. This atlas follows the Śvetāmbara reckoning and records that as the other tradition's.
