The lowest 80,000 yojana of the first earth, thick with water, and the first thirteen storeys of hell.
The bottom layer of Ratnaprabhā. Ab means water; the earth here is water-thick, and it is only here, two layers below the world we stand on, that hell begins.
Thirty lakh hells in thirteen storeys, the most storeys and the most hells of any earth, holding beings for ten thousand years at the least and one sāgaropama at the most. Every earth below has fewer storeys and fewer hells, and longer sentences.
Beneath this layer the earth ends. What comes next is not another earth but the dense water on which it rests.
