Vāruṇīvara

वारुणीवर

The fourth continent, 64,00,000 yojana wide, and the first that no account of the human world needs to mention at all.

By here the doubling has become the only thing that matters: this ring is 64 times the width of Jambūdvīpa, and the next continent out is four times wider again.

It is named for the ocean beyond it, Vāruṇoda, whose water tastes of wine.
